This past weekend Hellbound? had a presence at both the Wild Goose and Ichthus festivals. I’ve already blogged about my experience at Wild Goose. Meanwhile, my co-producer Dave Rempel was at Ichthus. He texted me on Friday saying they were nearly out of swag, which was both good news and bad news. The good news is we had more people visit our booth and watch our trailer at Ichthus than at any other festival so far. The bad news was the biggest day of the festival was yet to come. Thankfully, Dave managed to get through it okay. But I think by the end he was cutting his T-shirt into tiny squares and then forging my signature on them with a silver pen… (Kidding.)
This weekend my wife and I will have the big, black tent at the Lille Gard Festival in Kelowna, BC, which will feature visual arts, spoken word, thinkers & speakers and, of course, all the music your ears can handle with a theme of Arts, Faith, and Justice.
Then on July 3, Dave and I head out to Bushnell, IL for the final incarnation of the venerable Cornerstone festival.
After that I’m going to grab a week’s vacation with the family. Then you can look for us at Creation Northwest and one or two more festivals before the summer ends. It’s a grueling schedule, but we are having a great time.
If you’re going to be at any of our upcoming tour stops, please stop by an say hi!
