We just wrapped up a very successful weekend at Atlanta Fest, which took place inside beautiful and historic Stone Mountain Park. Throughout the three-day festival, we showed our trailer to nearly 700 people and interacted with hundreds more. The list of new friends we made include the bands Seldon, Skies, A Hero Remains, Your Chance to Die and S.O.G.
As someone who has always been highly skeptical of the entire Christian music industry, I was actually impressed with a number of the acts, particularly the metal bands. Clearly the genre has come a long way since I was 19-years-old and people were telling me, “Hey, if you like Metallica, you’ll love the Crucified…”
This weekend we will be hitting two festivals. My co-producer Dave Rempel will have the big, black tent at the Icthus Festival in Wilmore, KY. Meanwhile, I’ll have a scaled down version of the tent at the Wild Goose Festival in North Carolina.
If you’re at either festival, come by and say hello like our new friend JD did!
