These past few weeks I have been hard at work cutting together special features, recording my director’s commentary, creating closed captions and subtitles (English, French and Spanish), doing a 5.1 surround sound mix, working out DVD manufacturing options and artwork, redesigning the web site, delivering different versions of the film to broadcasters and all sorts of other tasks you don’t anticipate prior to embarking on a project like this. Apart from a few technical glitches, everything is progressing well, and we are still on track to release Hellbound? on DVD, iTunes, etc. on May 28.
We will be selling the DVD directly through our web site and through Amazon.com. Of course, we will be approaching retailers to carry the DVD as well. So if you’d like to see it in your local bookstore or video store (do such places till exist?), make sure you request it through the manager. We’ll have our online store set up soon. In the meantime, they can contact us through the web site.
Also don’t forget that we are continuing to sell corporate screening licenses for schools, churches and other groups. If you’re interested, contact us for pricing details.
Will the DVD be Region free? Hoping to finally watch the film here in Germany 😉
Yes. Tell me: Can you watch NTSC DVDs over there or PAL only?
