I wasn't in a position to make a film, so I thought a book was the next-best thing. Enter Hellrazed? Here is a brief description: In September 2012, the feature-length documentary Hellbound? was released in theaters across North America. Joining a growing chorus of voices that were questioning the traditional view of hell as a place of eternal conscious torment, the film asked a handful of “burning” questions. Does hell exist? It's called The Chicken Manure Incident, and you can rent it for $3 or own it for $5. Due to recent events in Abbotsford, BC, where the documentary takes place, I had made an earlier cut available. This new version features better audio and new graphics. I've already screened the film in Abbotsford and Edmonton with more screenings to come. Randal Rauser just posted his response to the film as well as an interview with me, and Mike Archer of Abbotsford Today posted a review of the premiere screening. If you

Good things come in small packages, or in this case, shorter packages. We cut an abridged version of Hellbound? for CBC's Documentary Channel, so I thought I'd also make it available online for those with short attention spans, don't have a lot of time to spare or could do with a few minutes less of Mark Driscoll. You can rent or buy it here. Of course, I'd prefer you watch the feature-length version, which is available in all sorts of formats

From the Raven Foundation, "for excellence in arts and entertainment." From their web site:
The Raven Award for Excellence in Arts and Entertainment is given to an artist whose work challenges the myth of redemptive and sacred violence. Kevin Miller’s documentary creatively demystifies sacred violence by challenging Christian theologies that maintain God punishes human beings with eternal torment.
A reception, screening and post-screening discussion will take place on Tues., Nov. 12 from 7-10pm at the Stage 773 Cabaret Theater in Chicago. More details here. I'll be there along with my wife (one of the rare occasions when she getsRead More

More specifically, he's blogging about some issues that came up during the Q&A session following our screening of Hellbound? at Abilene Christian University last week. Seeing as these sorts of issues have come up at a number of screenings, it's well worth your time to read these short posts. Especially if you're prone to reject Universalism out of hand as somehow "un-biblical." You can start with part one here.
